Coming to Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona, Caesars Hotels first ever non-gaming hotel in the U.S.
The building will be located by Fashion Square Mall, and fits in perfectly with the luxury expansion. The approximate location will be at the intersection of North Goldwater and east Highland Avenue. The building will be an 11 story glass hotel with 266 rooms, including a rooftop pool and unobstructed view of Camelback Mountain.
What does this mean for property owners nearby? Well for some, for example those owning at Safari Drive across Scottsdale Rd, it means any Camelback view you have now may be comprimised. For those owners at Optima Camelview Village, it means you might have some obstruction as you look towards the south at Fashion Square Mall, but the impact should be minimal. Overall, it is a great expansion in the area and will drive more business to the local economy. This announcement re-iterates the continued growth of Scottsdale and desirability as a world class destination.
“Caesars Republic Scottsdale represents the introduction of a new world-class brand and further progress on our strategy to expand our non-gaming business into premier destinations,” said Caesars Entertainment President and Chief Executive Officer, Mark Frissora. “This project will be our first non-gaming asset in the United States and demonstrates the global strength of the Caesars brand. We look forward to partnering with HCW Development and Aimbridge Hospitality to create a world-class experience in one of the nation’s most desirable communities.”
